Which areas do you Deliver to?

Hampers Across Australia offer delivery throughout Australia with Australia Post Express network which covers all major metro areas and the majority of regional areas.

When will my hamper be dispatched?

All Hampers are dispatched on the day of your order if ordered by 2pm. For orders place after 2pm your hamper will be dispatched the next day.

Can I choose a delivery date?

We will try to accomodate delivery date requests where possible, but please note that some regional areas may take several days to reach their destination. We would be happy to arrange express delivery at an additional cost of $14.95.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is FREE Australia-wide and will be dispatched on the day you place your order.

When can I expect my hamper to arrive?

Estimated delivery is 3-5 working days from dispatch for metro areas and up to 7 days for regional out of metro areas.

We can also provide a same day delivery option which will reach most metro area same day when ordered before 2pm.

Can I track my order?

Yes, you will receive an email with Australia Post tracking information allowing you to track delivery of your Hamper.

Do you offer same day delivery?

Yes, we can provide same day delivery throughout most metro suburbs of Melbourne. Select your delivery option at checkout.

What happens if no-one is there to receive the delivery? (Authority to Leave)

You can choose to give authority to leave the parcel during checkout.

If you have given authority to leave safe and no one is available to receive the delivery, the courier will attempt to leave the item in a safe place.

If the hamper cannot be left or you have not given authority to leave safe, the following may happen:

  • A card will be left so that the recipient can arrange pickup at the nearest post office
  • The recipient may receive a call to arrange another delivery to an alternative address or at an alternative time (a re-delivery fee will apply)
  • The hamper may be returned back to us, in which case we will attempt to contact you for further instructions - any re-delivery may incur a re-delivery fee.

If authority to leave safe has been given, Hampers Across Australia cannot accept liability or responsibility in the rare case of a lost or stolen Hamper once the courier has marked the Hamper as successfully delivered

How do you ensure my Hamper is safe during transit?

We use multiple ways to keep things safe, including paper strips, tissue paper, ice packs and air pillows. In the rare case the your hamper arrives damaged, please contact our customer experience team.

Can I send a hamper to a Hospital?

Yes, we can deliver to hospitals, but we strongly recommend making sure your recipient will still be there to receive their delivery. If they are discharged before the hamper arrives there will be a re-delivery fee to redirect the delivery.

We also recommend giving us as much information as possible to ensure the best chance of delivery, including Hospital name, bed and ward numbers and if the recipient might be admitted under a different name (such as their maiden name).

We recommend that you contact the hospital before placing your order, to make sure that the hospital accepts gifts and deliveries to patients and to ensure the correct delivery details.

Can I leave special delivery instructions for the courier?

Special delivery instructions (such as 'deliver to mailroom', 'leave in carport' etc.) will be printed on the delivery label on the outside of the box.

Please note that drivers are unable to call or text the recipient to arrange delivery, so we recommend utilising the delivery tracker and keeping the recipient informed if you believe there may be delivery issues.

Do you deliver outside of Australia, Internationally?

No, we currently only deliver throughout Australia.
